Cascadia Board Co Warranty Guidelines
Paddle Boards, Inflatable Paddle Boards, and Surfboards
Only brand new, unused boards qualify for this lifetime guarantee. The Cascadia Board Co lifetime warranty covers defects in materials and craftsmanship only.
If your product is assessed by our product team and deemed to have failed due to defects in materials, production or craftsmanship Cascadia will repair it free of charge or replace it at our discretion.
Normal wear and tear damage, damage caused by misuse, cosmetic damage, improper care or impacts/accidents are not covered by this warranty. Wear and tear is natural and inevitable damage as a result of normal use and exposure to the elements.
Losses or costs incurred as a result of loss of use are not covered. The product’s lifetime depends on how well it’s taken care of and how much use it gets. Factors such as heat and UV can cause accelerated aging of inflatable boards.
General Terms and Conditions
If a product is found to be defective by Cascadia Board Co, in its sole discretion, Cascadia Board Co’s only responsibility shall be limited to repair or replacement of the defective product.
Cascadia Board Co will not be responsible for any costs, losses or damages incurred as a result of loss of use of product. This warranty is subject to the following limitations in addition to any imposed by virtue of applicable law.
1. The warranty applies only to Cascadia Board Co products purchased directly from Cascadia Board Co or an Authorized Cascadia Board Co Dealers and is valid for the original purchaser only. Transfers of warranty is not possible.
2. Any products that we request to be returned to Cascadia Board Co for warranty inspection must receive prior return authorization, which can be given over an email by contacting info@cascadiaboardco.com . If shipping products directly we recommend using a tracked/insured service. Cascadia Board Co assumes no responsibility for products during shipment from the customer to our Warranty Department. Shipping charges are not refundable.
3. Excluded from coverage under this warranty are the following:
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse or neglect.
- Damage caused by improper packing.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Damage caused by anything other than defects in material or workmanship.
- Damage Caused by excessive UV/Heat Exposure (shown by distinct yellow glue staining around seams or fading of parts such as fins and logos)
- Damage or defects caused by use outside of it’s intended purpose.
- Damage or defects caused by transport, loading, unloading, dropping, or out of water handling. Including marks left by over tightening transport straps.
- Damage or defects caused by inappropriate storage in temperatures over 90°F and under 32°F
- Damage or delamination caused by overheating as a result of exposure to direct sunlight while not in use.
- Damage caused by use of solvents, adhesives.
- Damage to Cascadia Board Co products caused by non- Cascadia Board Co products.
- Any and all claims for consequential or incidental damages.
4. All coverage under this warranty is void if any modification, change or alteration has been made to the product that is not specifically authorized in writing by Cascadia Board Co.
5. Any repaired or replaced boards will be covered for the remainder of the extended warranty period, starting from the original purchase date. All boards will have a minimum 12-month warranty.
6. All warranty claims must be accompanied by the original purchase receipt from Cascadia Board Co or an Authorized Cascadia Board Co dealer. Invoice or charge receipt must clearly identify the dealer.
7.Lifetime warranties are only applicable for private, end consumer use and will not be offered for any commercial purchases, such as SUP schools or similar.
8. This warranty is in addition to and does not affect your legal rights under laws.
9. Warranties and/or product replacements are only applicable/redeemable in the original country of purchase.
Cascadia Board Co Warranty Guidelines
Paddles, Board Bags, Pumps, Leashes
All of our Cascadia Board Co accessories come with a standard 1 year warranty which covers manufacturer faults. Items can be replaced or repaired at the discretion of Cascadia Board Co.

If you sit outside of this warranty period and encounter an issue, you can still get in touch with us to investigate alternative options [i.e., product repair /advise].
Paddles
Excluded from coverage under this warranty are the following:
- Damage or defects caused by impact with any materials or objects (rocks, board, etc ).
- Chips, cracks or separation of the blade due to a result of impact with any object(s).
- Damage due to falling on the paddle.
- Paddle sinking.
- Damage or defects caused by use outside of it’s intended purpose.
- Damage or defects caused by transport, loading, unloading, dropping, or out of water handling.
- Damage due to normal wear and tear.
- Damage or defects caused by wave impact and/or impact with ocean/lake floor.
- Improper installation of the handle.
- Breakage or damage as a result of over extending the adjustable shaft.
- Breakage or damage of adjustable mechanism due to improper use and/or maintenance.

Paddles used in rental, commercial, or teaching environment.
Board Bags
Excluded from coverage under this warranty are the following:
- Fading.
- Tears, rips or holes caused by collision or abuse
- Zipper damage caused by misuse or improper care and maintenance.
- Damage due to normal wear and tear.
Inflatable Pumps Hand Pumps & E-Pumps
For use with the Electronic iSUP pump please wait 5 minutes between filing inflatable boards or until the electric pump is not warm to the touch.
Leashes
Excluded from coverage under this warranty are the following:
- Damage or defects due to use outside of it’s intended purpose.
- Damage due to normal wear and tear.
- Damage due to fin cuts.
- SUP leashes are not covered for use in the surf zone.
Skimboard Warranty Guidelines
3 Month Manufacturers Limited Warranty on all Skimboards. We guarantee against any abnormal defect in workmanship and materials within this period.
Excluded from coverage under this warranty are the following:
- Damage or defects caused by impact with any materials or objects.
- Damage or defects caused by use outside of it’s intended purpose.
- Damage or defects caused by normal wear and tear.
- Damage or defects caused by transport, loading, unloading, dropping, or out of water handling.
- Damage or defects caused by heel dents also known as pressure dings.
- Damage or defects caused by inappropriate storage in temperatures over 90°F and under 32°F
- Damage or delam caused by over heating as a result of exposure to direct sunlight while not in use.
- Boards used in rental, commercial, or teaching environment.
Excluded from coverage under this warranty are the following:
- Commercial use
- Cosmetic issues
- Electrical components (LED boards)
- Boards purchased from vendors other than Cascadia Board Co
- Boards purchased in used condition
- Any customer-initiated modifications to the surface of the board
