Carbon Fibre Touring Paddle Board
Same proven shape. Less weight. More response.
The Drifter CF is a carbon fibre reinforced hard paddle board built for all-around touring on Pacific Northwest water. We took the Drifter outline, in our lineup since 2016, and added carbon through the rails, nose and tail.
The result is lighter and stiffer. It accelerates sooner, holds its edge in chop and cross-wind, and asks less of you over distance. It is still stable. It is still versatile. It simply goes further for the same effort.
Coastal touring
Inlets, sounds and shorelines, where wind and chop arrive without much warning.
Lake distance
Long, steady sessions where glide and efficiency matter more than speed off the line.
Fitness paddling
A stiffer board returns more of every stroke, so training sessions feel sharper.

Cold Weather Bundle: $500 in gear.
For a limited time, every carbon paddle board ships with a free 3-piece Alu Plus paddle, Explorer neoprene PFD, padded tie-down straps and coiled SUP leash, plus 50% off board bags.

A hand-shaped 15kg/m³ high-density EPS core is laid in three layers of performance fibreglass. Carbon fibre and S-Glass reinforce the tip, tail, rails and standing zone before the real wood veneer goes on. Each board is finished with a high-pressure, heated vacuum process for strength and consistency.
Backed for life. Supported in BC.
Every Drifter CF carries our lifetime manufacturer's warranty and our 30 Day Paddler Guarantee. Questions before or after you buy go to our team in North Vancouver, seven days a week.
Both share the same shape and stability. Choose the Drifter for relaxed all-around paddling. Choose the Drifter CF if you paddle longer distances, carry your board often, or want a quicker, more responsive feel.
If weight and efficiency matter to you, yes. A stiffer, lighter board transfers more of each stroke and is easier to handle on and off the water. For occasional calm-water paddling, a standard hard board or an inflatable may suit you just as well.
The 10' suits paddlers up to 190 lbs who want a manoeuvrable board. The 11' is the middle ground for most paddlers. The 12' tracks straightest and carries the most, making it the best choice for longer trips and heavier paddlers.
