Limited Edition Carbon Touring Paddle Board
Art and performance, on the same water.
The K'Utala is a limited edition touring hardboard carrying commissioned artwork by the late Kwakwa̱ka̱ʼwakw artist, teacher and friend Curtis Wilson. His design depicts spawning salmon carrying roe, a symbol of life, continuity and connection to the water.
Underneath the art is a serious touring board. An aggressive touring shape and displacement V-hull track straight through wind, chop and open crossings. Carbon fibre in the rails, nose and tail adds rigidity and reduces weight.
Open crossings
A displacement V-hull cuts through chop and holds a straight line.
Long coastal days
Efficient glide for distance, with a 300 lb rider capacity.
Collectors
A limited edition board with meaning, made to be paddled.

Cold Weather Bundle: $500 in gear.
For a limited time, every carbon paddle board ships with a free 3-piece Alu Plus paddle, Explorer neoprene PFD, padded tie-down straps and coiled SUP leash, plus 50% off board bags.

A hand-shaped 15kg/m³ high-density EPS core is laid in three layers of performance fibreglass. Carbon fibre and S-Glass reinforce the tip, tail, rails and standing zone before the real wood veneer goes on. Each board is finished with a high-pressure, heated vacuum process for strength and consistency.
Backed for life. Supported in BC.

Curtis Wilson's design shows spawning salmon carrying roe. It speaks to life, continuity and our connection to the water. In his words: “Every day is a learning experience. We must do our best to pass on the knowledge to our future generations.”
Yes. Quantities are limited, and each rosewood veneer is unique.
If weight and efficiency matter to you, yes. A stiffer, lighter board transfers more of each stroke and is easier to handle on and off the water. For occasional calm-water paddling, a standard hard board or an inflatable may suit you just as well.
